Miglė Krancevičiūtė is an investigative journalist from Lithuania. Right after graduation from the Journalism Bachelor program at Vilnius University, together with colleague Šarūnas Černiauskas, she launched the first investigative journalism center four years ago. This center, unique in its focus solely on investigations and partnership with international investigative consortiums such as OCCRP, ICIJ and recently GIJN, continues to stand as the only one of its kind in the country. Aside from shared stories that already made an impact on tackling sanctions evasion, getting back stolen tax money and others, Miglė covers a wide range of human rights issues, including trafficking, exploitation, abuse, and the need for protective regulations. She also dives into climate change and environmental topics. Her collaborative international work includes multiple stories and contributions to impactful projects like the Pandora Papers and Russian Asset Tracker.
